Volleyball

Make sure your has the following three items completed before try-outs:

• RankOne Online Forms
• Concussion screening
• Doctor’s physical that you must turn into the Athletic Director, Mr. Hovde, to obtain and fill out the green clearance card.

If these three items are not completed, we cannot allow your child to try-out.

• You must be present at all tryout dates for best possible consideration to make the team.
  • If you cannot make it, please email the coaches about your circumstances – we want to see all potential athletes.
     
• Players only tryout for their grade-level, players are not able to play up or down.
   
• Try-outs and practices are closed to spectators, please be sure to pick up and drop off your child for each day of practice. 
  • Once school starts - if your child will be using the activity bus to get home, please make sure they know their home address, cross streets, and/or neighborhood development name.
  • Please be sure to pick up your child on time.
     
• Please make sure that your daughter has a water bottle for tryouts.
   
• Knee pads are highly highly recommended for tryouts;  then required once you make the team. Don’t let lack of knee pads be the reason for not trying out. If buying new this season, try to choose white knee pads)
   
• This is a commitment for 2 months. If your child makes the team, they will be practicing just about every day after school for 2 hours and once games start they will have about 2 games a week sometimes ending around 6:00pm. If you cannot commit to this, please don’t take away an opportunity from someone that can. (more information will be addressed at the parent meeting for those that make the team) Ferrucci Sports Game Calendar – check the calendar for games – if you miss a few that is acceptable as long as it is communicated.
